Unpacking $TRC Tokenomics
Terrace is the all-in-one trading terminal and portfolio management system for crypto – a single platform that aggregates CEX, DEX, MM, and OTC so traders get the best prices, deepest liquidity, and broadest asset coverage.
$TRC is the token that powers Terrace. It is both a rewards program and a utility token; $TRC is the backbone of the Terrace ecosystem, the core mechanism for customer fee discounts on the platform, the access key to exclusive opportunities, and ultimately, the native gas token of the planned Terrace chain.
Token Utility
Terrace Customers can use $TRC to pay for any fees on the platform, including but not limited to:
- Transaction Fees
- Subscription Fees
- Gas Fees
- Any other Fees
Customers will receive discounts for paying in $TRC, and customers will also receive discounted fees / improved fee tiers for staking our token.
Longer term, $TRC will function as the native gas token of Terrace’s planned clearing and settling blockchain, and the $TRC token will be used for governance of said chain.
The platform may decide to purchase and burn $TRC tokens at any time.
